How does it work?
Every ceremony, whichever chapter you’re on, is uniquely yours.
We’ll start with a relaxed, no-obligation chat to talk about what you’re looking for and make sure I’m the right celebrant for you.
Next, we’ll meet in person, or online if you prefer, and I’ll get to know you and your story. We’ll talk about the important things, the little quirks, favourite memories and, most importantly, how you want your ceremony to feel.
Then I’ll get to work, turning your story into a ceremony that sounds and feels like you.
You’ll receive a draft to read through, with the opportunity to make any changes until we’re happy it’s just right.
Then comes the day itself. I’ll be there to deliver your ceremony with warmth, personality and a little humour where it belongs, leaving you and your guests with something truly memorable.

What is the difference between as Celebrant and a Registrar?

Registrar = makes the marriage legally binding.

Celebrant = creates and conducts a personalised ceremony, but does not usually complete the legal marriage
Registrar
A registrar is employed by the local authority and can conduct the legal civil marriage ceremony. For a civil wedding, a registrar must carry out or be present at the ceremony, and you need at least two witnesses.
A registrar ceremony:

legally marries you

takes place at a register office or an approved/licensed venue

requires certain legal wording

can include readings and music, but a civil ceremony cannot contain religious content

tends to have less flexibility over the structure and content
Celebrant
A celebrant is generally an independent person who works with you to create a ceremony that's much more personal to you as a couple.
In England and Wales, an independent celebrant-led wedding does not itself legally marry you, so you would normally complete the legal marriage separately with a registrar.
The big advantage is flexibility. A celebrant ceremony can be designed around your personalities and wishes, including your own vows, stories, family involvement or symbolic elements such as handfasting. It can also give you much more freedom over where and how the ceremony takes place.
A common way of doing it
For example, you could have:
Friday: A small legal ceremony at the register office with two witnesses.
Saturday: Your main wedding at your chosen venue, with all your guests and a celebrant conducting the ceremony exactly how you want it.
You'd already be legally married on the Friday, but Saturday could feel like your actual wedding day.
Which would I choose?
If you mainly want simple, legal and straightforward, I'd choose a registrar.
If you want the ceremony to feel really personal, relaxed and tailored to you, I'd seriously consider a celebrant plus a separate legal register-office ceremony.
