Who is Sarah, anyway?
Born and raised in Devon.
I have always loved weddings and everything about them. There were once aspirations of becoming a wedding planner, but life happens and I ended up progressing in other careers instead.
I was asked a few years ago to marry my friends, which I initially laughed at, until they told me they were serious.
Since then, I have loved writing stories. Be it love stories, or life stories.
My story telling comes with humour, even in the hardest of times.
This came particularly important delivering my dads funeral service, and keeping the spirit alive.
It was after this ceremony, that I decided to really look into being a celebrant as a career.
I want to write personal ceremonies that are about you and your story.
A lover of daylight, advocate of a good cup of coffee, and an even better chinwag.

How does it work?
Every ceremony (whichever chapter you're on) is uniquely you.
We will have an initial non-obligation call to see what you're looking for and if we are a perfect match.
Then we will meet (usually with a coffee) to speak about your story. This can be in person, or on teams if you'd prefer.
I will ask you questions so I understand what to add to your day, and the vibe you want to bring. Your quirks, your favourite things, and what you want your guests to know about.
I will go away and craft a draft of the chosen service.
Once written, I will send it over to you to see if you would like any changes made.
Any changes will be made for the final draft, and can be re-sent if required.
Then, the day arrives and I deliver the perfectly crafted ceremony to suit you. Something for you and your guests to talk about for years to come.
On the day, I will have a copy of the service printed and available for you as a keepsake of the day.
